Kentucky State Police says six people were killed in a four-vehicle accident late Thursday night at the 30 mile marker of northbound I-65 in Warren County.
K105.com first reported the story early Thursday morning.
Police say the collision involved two passenger vehicles and two commercial vehicles, and occurred at 10:38.
KSP and Commercial Vehicle Officers are working the scene.
The names of the deceased have not been released, as authorities are still working to notify family members. Police said two of the victims have yet to be identified.
As of Thursday morning at 5:10, all northbound lanes of I-65 had been reopened.
Police said no further details are available at this time, but updates will follow.
