Robert Honus Hayes, 56, of Caneyville, was carried Home by angels Friday, July 14 th , 2017 at his residence on Pine Knob Lake.
He was born on Friday, September 16 th , 1960 at Ft. Knox, the son of the Charles Edward and Jean Marie (Shain) Hayes. Robert was a welder in the US Navy and also a welder by trade.
Robert is survived by his two sons, Christopher Robert Hayes and Casey Jon Hayes both of Leitchfield; his mother, Jean Marie Shain-Carwile of Caneyville; two sisters, Melody Jean Glover (Bob) of Sulfur, OK and Pamela Marie Bidel (Kelly) of Tuscon, AZ, one uncle, Honus “Junior” Shain of Caneyville; three grandsons and three granddaughters. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Hayes; his brother, Marcus Edward Hayes and several Hayes cousins.
Cremations was chosen with a private memorial service to be held at a later date.
