Stella (Barton) Smith, 74, of Leitchfield, passed away Friday, July 14 th , 2017 at Spring View Health and Rehab. She was born on Wednesday, December 9 th , 1942 in Grayson County, the daughter of the late George Horton and Iva May (Lacefield) Barton.
Stella loved to tend to her flowers and take care of her home. She was a loving wife and sister.
Stella is survived by her three brothers, Rex Barton of Leitchfield, Raymond Barton of Georgia and Jim Barton of Tennessee and two sisters, Violet Sue Richards of Indiana and Pauline Parsley also of
Indiana.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Smith and three brothers.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 17 th at 2:00 pm at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Phillip Crume will be officiating. Burial will be in the McCanless Cemetery.
