Two men arrested for burglarizing two Meade Co. churches, five churches in south

The two men suspected of burglarizing two Meade County churches, along with five churches in southern Indiana, have been arrested.

On Friday afternoon, 22-year-old Zachary Weaver was arrested at a Louisville bus stop, while 24-year-old Matthew Wright was arrested while hiding under a pontoon boat at a Meade County lake. Weaver had a bus ticket in hand and was planning to leave Kentucky, according to multiple media reports.

Police are in the process of gathering thousands of dollars of stolen items, including several large screen TVs, blu-ray players, a cash safe and money.

Both men are awaiting extradition to Harrison County, Indiana.
