James Bradley Jr., 60, the truck driver whose rig was found Saturday morning with nearly 100 people in the semi's un-air conditioned trailer in San Antonio lived in Louisville.

Eight people were found dead inside the trailer in a Walmart parking, two other people died at a local hospital. Bradley has said he had no idea human beings were in the trailer.

Bradley, who owned the truck, was paid to deliver an empty trailer from Iowa to Texas by Pyle Transportation. Mike Pyle, founder of Pyle Transportation, said Bradley lived in Louisville and public records list his most recent address in the Algonquin neighborhood, according to multiple media reports.

Federal authorities in Texas have charged Bradley with illegally transporting immigrants. Reports indicate the vast majority of the people found inside the trailer were from Mexico and Guatemala.

Bradley’s fiancé said he often stayed with his sister in the Shively neighborhood, in between his hospital treatments for diabetes, but to her knowledge he did not own a home.

Bradley was arrested in 1998 and 2003 in Ohio and Colorado for parole violations related to a domestic violence case.

He faces life in prison if convicted.
