On Friday night, Kentucky State Police executed a traffic stop for a traffic violation on the William Natcher Parkway, in Ohio County.
After an investigation, the driver of the vehicle, 41-year-old John David Tinnell, of Hartford, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.
Tinnell was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and several traffic offenses.
He was lodged at the Ohio County Detention Center but has since bonded out of custody.
