On Monday, the Glasgow Police Department responded to a vehicle versus building accident at the Dollar Store on West Main Street.
Upon arriving on the scene, police found that a 2010 KIA Soul, being driven by 52-year-old Sosa Gonzalez, of Glasgow, had struck the front doors of the Dollar Store. Gonzales told officers that as she pulled into a parking position directly in front of the store, she mistakenly pushed on the accelerator rather than the brakes, causing the Kia to slam into the front doors of the store.
A patron at the store, Sherry Neal, of Glasgow, was injured in the accident, but refused treatment at the scene; however, Neal later transported herself to T J Samson Community Hospital for treatment.
