On Thursday night at approximately 5:15, Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested a Muhlenberg County man on 36 child porn charges.
Police said 39-year-old Thomas D. Craig was arrested for distribution and possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. Craig was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation, after it was determined the suspect was uploading child sexual exploitation images online.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant of Craig’s residence, where electronic equipment was seized and is pending a forensic examination.
Craig was charged with 33 counts of distribution and three counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, all class D felonies.
He was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
