Less than 17 hours after an inmate escaped from the Union County Detention Center, Kentucky State Police again responded to the report of an escaped inmate, this time at the Daviess County Detention Center.

Police said the preliminary investigation revealed 18-year-old Kaleb Gage Anderson, of Owensboro, was lodged in the detention center and while in a secure outdoor area, he jumped a border fence just before 5:00 on Monday. He then fled the area on foot.

Anderson was arrested in October 2016 on several charges, including burglary, identity theft, receiving stolen property, forgery, possession of a controlled substance (meth), and several failure to appear charges.

Anderson is a white male standing 5-8 and weighing 145 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and denim pants with orange stripes down both legs.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Anderson is asked to contact Kentucky State Police at 270-826-3312.

Monday morning at about 12:20, Dameon Scott Ford, 35, escaped from the Union County Detention Center by leaving the facility through an unlocked or open door. Law enforcement continues to look for Ford.
