Police looking for convicted felon on child porn charges; suspect has extensive criminal history

Kentucky State Police is looking for a convicted felon, with a litany of previous criminal activity, on child porn charges.

Police said 32-year-old Michael R. Weaver, of Scottsville, is wanted on numerous outstanding warrants, including distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, possessing or viewing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and for being a persistent felony offender.

Weaver’s arrest history shows he was arrested by Kentucky State Police in Allen County on March 14 of this year for allegedly distributing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. In August 2013, he was served with a bench warrant for an unknown offense, and in August 2014, he was arrested on a probation violation for a felony offense.

In June 2011, he was arrested for DUI in Warren County, and in November 2011, Weaver was arrested by Allen County Drug Court officers for contempt of a court order. In November 2010, he was taken into custody on a manufacturing methamphetamine charge; he was convicted of that charge in July 2011 and sentenced to five years.

In October 2007, Weaver was arrested for assault.

Weaver is a white male standing 6-3 and weighing 190 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
