Kentucky State Police has made an arrest in a sexual abuse case involving 13-year-old female victim.
After a five month investigation by Kentucky State Police, the case was presented to the Ohio County Grand Jury last month, with an indictment on two counts of first degree sexual abuse and being a persistent felony offender returned against 72-year-old Charles Westerfield, of Whitesville.
Kentucky State Police arrested Westerfield at his residence on Monday.
He was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center on $150,000 cash bond.
