The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says resurfacing of Hwy 62 will begin on Monday from the Grayson County line to Hwy 1375 (Long Grove Road), a 9.5 mile section of the roadway.
Cabinet spokesman Chris Jessie said motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly and be prepared for slowly moving and/or stopped vehicles ahead.
Flaggers will direct alternating one-way traffic around paving operations.
Depending on weather conditions, resurfacing work should be complete by the end of this month, according to Jessie.
