James Calvin Neely, 66, of Bowling Green passed away at 2:13 PM Oct. 19, 2017 at Fountain Circle in Winchester.
The Nashville, TN native was an automated control specialist, a minister and a member of Greenwood Park Church of Christ. He was the son of the late Johnny William Neely and Pearl Mae Cannon Neely.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Gravil Funeral home with burial to follow in Big Reedy Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Saturday and after 9:00 AM Sunday at the funeral home.
Surviving are his wife, Donetta Embry Neely; a son, Chris Neely of Tennessee; two daughters, Jamie Johnston and Katherine Murrie both of Tennessee; two step sons, Anthony Hazlewood (Ashley) of Morgantown and Thomas Bivins of Bowling Green; two step daughters, Sarah Bivins and Hannah Bivins both of Bowling Green; a sister, Brenda Clampitt of Tennessee; and five grandchildren, Blake Johnston, Chase Johnston, Nora Murrie, Julian Hazlewood and Jayce Lacefield.
