An Elizabethtown man has been indicted for raping a woman at a park-and-ride near the Hwy 31-W/Western Kentucky Parkway interchange.

The Hardin County Grand Jury indicted 33-year-old Jeremy Wayne Figg for driving a 29-year-old woman to the lot and raping her after she became unconscious after taking three prescription medications, according to a report in the News Enterprise.

At some point during the attack, the victim realized what was happening and repeatedly struck Figg, who then took the victim’s purse and fled the area.

Figg, who has additionally been indicted for being a persistent felony offender, is being held in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash bond.
