The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an Eastview man on attempted murder and unlawful imprisonment charges involving a Leitchfield woman, who was also arrested.

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office said 46-year-old Roger Kolley fired a gun at an unnamed man on Tuesday night at about 10:00, while a Leitchfield woman, 27-year-old Christina Morris, was standing next to the man fired upon.

After the shooting, Kolley would not allow Morris to leave.

After someone called 911 to report a hostage situation, the sheriff’s office responded, and about an hour later, Kolley walked out of the Summit Road residence where police arrested him.

Kolley was charged with attempted murder, wanton endangerment, unlawful imprisonment, menacing and resisting arrest.

Police later searched the home and seized methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Police said Morris admitted ownership of the drug and was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were transported to the Hardin County Detention Center where Kolley is being held on a $100,000 cash bond, and Morris a $5,000 bond.

No one was injured in the shooting.
