Sunday morning at approximately 1:10, Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop on a southbound vehicle traveling on the William Natcher Parkway.
Through an investigation, it was determined the driver of the vehicle, 44-year-old Susan K. Baran, of Olaton, was driving while intoxicated and was in possession of methamphetamine.
She was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth) and DUI.
Baran was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center but has since bonded out of custody.
