2 Ohio Co. men busted for meth trafficking after traffic stop

Late Saturday morning, Kentucky State Police executed a traffic stop in Ohio County on a vehicle with no registration plates.

During a short investigation, police found that the driver, 36-year-old Nate P. Midkiff, of Hartford, and passenger 56-year-old Louis L. Canary, of Fordsville, were in possession of and trafficking in methamphetamine.

Both men were arrested and transported to the Ohio County Detention Center where they’ve been charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and tampering with physical evidence, with Midkiff also charged with DUI and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
