On Sunday morning at about 6:00, Kentucky State Police responded to a residence in Eastview on a reported assault.

The call to police came from 39-year-old Ricardo Garcia, who lives in the 3600 block of Pierce Mill Road. He told authorities that he had been shot and assaulted during a home invasion.

Garcia was shot once in the arm, and had several abrasions to his head and face, according to police. He was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital and later transferred to University of Louisville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said based on the information they gathered, authorities arrested 31-year-old Edgar Bravo Rodriquez, and his sister, 29-year-old Soleil Santiago Bravo, both of Elizabethtown, in connection with the home invasion.

Rodriquez was charged with assault, wanton endangerment, burglary and failure to comply with the Kentucky sex offender registry. Bravo was charged with tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest and harboring a non-compliant sex offender. Both were lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.

Investigators also have arrest warrants for two additional suspects in connection to crime, as police are looking for 27-year-old Demetrius “Meach” Clayton and 35-year-old Damon “Black” Brown, both of Radcliff.

Anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of Brown or Clayton is asked to contact Kentucky State Police at 270-766-5078.
