3 Ohio Co. residents arrested after police serve domestic violence arrest warrant

On Friday afternoon at approximately 12:30, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office arrived at a residence on Hwy 231, in Cromwell, to serve a felony arrest warrant for domestic violence assault.

Upon arriving at the home, police located the suspect, on 46-year-old Roy Philpot, of Beaver Dam. Police said while conducting the arrest, deputies noticed drug paraphernalia in plain view.

During a search of the residence, authorities located methamphetamine in the bedroom of 46-year-old Ron Philpot and 46-year-old Carla Detalente. Both were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

All three suspects were lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center. Both Philpots are being held on $2,500 cash bonds. Detalente has since bonded out of custody.
