Upon arriving at the scene, LPD Officer Joe Overton found that a Ford Taurus, being driven west on Salt River Road by 78-year-old Jane Bland, of Leitchfield, pulled into the path of a northbound Chevrolet Trail Blazer, being driven on the Byway by 64-year-old Michael Thompson, also of Leitchfield, at the two-way stop at Salt River Road and the Byway.
