Police interrupt drug deal, arrest Fordsville couple with 41 grams of meth

On Friday evening at about 5:00, an ongoing drug investigation by the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of two Fordsville residents.

Police said the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police interrupted a drug transaction that was taking place in the 600 Block of North Main Street, in Hartford.

During the arrest, officers located over 41grams of methamphetamine, cash and a large quantity of drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested 52-year-old Wilbert Roach and his wife, 44-year-old Jeri Roach. They were both charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (meth), possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They were lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
