Robert Carter indicted on murder charge

The Grayson County Grand Jury has indicted the man accused of shooting and killing a Caneyville man on October 26 in Caneyville.

The grand jury returned an indictment for murder, tamping with physical evidence and being a persistent felony offender against 35-year-old Robert Carter, of Millwood.

Carter, who admitted to shooting 29-year-old James Parks once in the head while being questioned by Kentucky State Police Detective Bryan Washer, is being held in the Grayson County Detention Center on a $200,000 cash bond.
