Elizabethtown woman arrested on multiple charges after hitting boyfriend with car

Sunday morning at approximately 1:30, an Elizabethtown woman was arrested after hitting her boyfriend with a car.

Marissa Broadway, 25, was arrested after backing her vehicle into her unidentified boyfriend on Shelby Avenue, in Radcliff.

Not long after the incident, Broadway was pulled over by police on Hwy 31-W, near Battle Training Road, and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, according to a report in the News Enterprise. A two-year-old child was also in the vehicle.

After being questioned, Broadway admitted striking her boyfriend with the car and fleeing the scene.

She was charged with assault, wanton endangerment, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident (with serious physical injury), and a booster seat violation.

Broadway is being held in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond.
