Sunday afternoon at approximately 1:30, the Leitchfield Police Department responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 1500 block of West White Oak Street.
Upon arriving at the scene, officer Todd Oller found that a Ford F250 truck, being driven by a Leitchfield juvenile, had left the roadway, struck an embankment and flipped onto its side.
Based on marks at the scene, the vehicle left the roadway in a curve and traveled with two wheels in a deep ditch for about 40 yards before hitting an earthen embankment. The impact flipped the truck onto its side as it slid in the eastbound lane for about 60 feet.
The male driver was uninjured in the accident.
