Police seize drugs, guns and cash from Owensboro home; 4 arrested

Four Owensboro residents have been arrested on multiple drug charges after Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant at a residence on Tuesday night.

Troopers executed the warrant in the 1100 block of Oglesby Street, in Owensboro, at approximately 8:30 Tuesday night. Authorities said police discovered and seized five pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, various long guns and pistols, as well as a “significant amount of currency.”

Authorities said 22 year-old Dornisha Davidson was charged with trafficking in marijuana (greater than five pounds) and possession of marijuana; 43 year-old Jason Hutchins was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; 41 year-old Misty Hutchins was charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of marijuana; and 20 year-old Zachary Hutchins was charged with trafficking in marijuana and possession of marijuana.

All of the suspects were lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center. Davidson and Zachary Hutchins have since been released, while Jason and Misty Hutchins are being held on $10,000 cash bonds.
