On Wednesday night, the Bowling Green Police Department responded to a robbery at the Family Dollar on Glen Lilly Road.

When police arrived to the scene, employees said two people entered the store with one of the suspects brandishing a firearm. The suspects ordered the workers to turn over money and cigarettes. The workers complied and fled the area on foot.

Police said the two suspects are biracial males; one was wearing a ski mask and the other had a red bandana over his face, according to WBKO.com

Police are currently studying surveillance footage.

It was on January 18 when two white males entered the Smiths Grove Dollar General Store and robbed the business, assaulting a 67-year-old clerk in the process. The suspects were wearing masks, with one of the suspects donning a white hoodie and dark pants, and brandishing a handgun. The second suspect was in all dark clothing and is believed to have not been armed.

The suspects fled on foot and based on foot prints in the snow, police believe they entered a vehicle about a block from the store, located at 401 South Main Street.
