Thursday night, the Cave City Police Department arrested a man for assaulting someone with a baseball bat.
Cave City police were dispatched to East Duke Street in reference to a subject being beat with a baseball bat, authorities said. Upon arriving at the scene, police arrested 21-year-old Joey Price, of Cave City, and charged him with domestic violence assault.
The victim was transported to Caverna Memorial Hospital for treatment of head injuries.
Price was lodged into the Barren County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.
