Hartford man arrested on drug charges after being pulled over for driving recklessly

On Saturday, Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 431 in Livermore on a vehicle being driven recklessly and without a license plate.

State police said troopers came into contact with the driver, 30-year-old Travis Petta, of Hartford, and found he was driving under the influence. Police also discovered that Petta was in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.

Petta was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of marijuana, DUI and reckless driving.

He was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center but has since been released.
