Allan McClain Sullivan Sheckles Sr., age 66 of Clarkson passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at his residence. He was born July 7, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky the son of Larry and Ethel Rose Ingram Sullivan.
He is survived by his children, Allan Sheckles, Jr. (Erica), Katherine R. Decker (Timmy), and Crystal Gibson (Wayne), two sisters, Betty Katherine Probus and Donna Francis House, and one brother, Vincent Eugene Sullivan, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Decker Sheckles, one son, Donald Allan Decker, his parents, and four brothers, Larry Patrick Sullivan Sheckles, David Lee Sullivan, Richard Leroy Sullivan, and Joseph Wayne Sullivan.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the McGrew Memorial General Baptist Church in Anneta with Bro. Charlie Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held after 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday until service time on Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Watson & Hunt Funeral Directors to help with funeral expenses.
