Police seize large amount of cocaine, guns and cash in raid on Bardstown homes

On Wednesday, detectives from the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, and Bardstown Police Department executed a search warrant at 135 and 144 Fern Lea Circle, in Bardstown.

Police seized drugs, guns and cash in the raid, including eight ounces cocaine, approximately nine ounces of marijuana, anabolic steroids, numerous pills, three handguns, one shotgun, and over $ 7,000 in cash.

Police arrested 37-year-old Robert Maddox Jr. and 37-year-old Kenny Kincaid, both of  Bardstown, and charged each with trafficking in controlled substance (cocaine), trafficking in marijuana, trafficking in controlled substance (drug unspecified), possession of handgun by convicted felon, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, possession of controlled substance (cocaine), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said more charges will be brought as the investigation continues.

Both suspects were lodged in the Nelson County Detention Center.
