John “Jack” Morton III, age 78 of Lexington, KY passed away on February 9, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was the son of John Porter Morton, JR. and Dorothy Doutaz Morton. He was a Self-employed Landscaper and a Veteran of Marine Corp.
Visitation: Tuesday, February 13, 2018 after 12 noon at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home until time of service at the church. Funeral: Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 3:00 PM CST at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Rev. Steve Hohman officiating. Burial to follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by Parents and his brother David Morton.
He is survived by three daughters: Terrie Lynn Mendez (Bobby), Linda Marie Thomason (Bobby), and Karen LeAnn Morton (Larry); seven Grandchildren; six Great-grandchildren and several Nieces and nephews.
Also surviving: four sisters: Julie Renfrow Raymer, Margie Hood (Eddie), Bonnie Shockley and Kathy Kimbel (Butch); and one brother Stephen Morton (Sherry).
