Late last week, the Hart County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men after police discovered an active methamphetamine lab.

Police found the meth lab on Locust Grove Road in Bonnieville, and arrested 49-year- old David Fields, of Munfordville, and 31-year-old Michael Reynolds, of Bonnieville.

Both men were charged with manufacturing meth, their second offenses, while Fields was also charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth). Authorities said a Hart County indictment warrant was also served on Fields for receiving stolen property and tampering with physical evidence.

They were lodged in Hart County Jail, with Fields being held on two bonds totaling $150,000. Reynolds is being held on a $100,000 cash bond.
