2 Morgantown men busted on weapons, meth charges after traffic stop

On Monday, the Morgantown Police Department executed a traffic stop on a vehicle containing a man with an active arrest warrant.

During the traffic stop, police made contact with 37-year-old Ricky Shane Henderson, of Morgantown, and found him to be in possession of a concealed deadly weapon and drug paraphernalia. A passenger in the car, 35-year-old Earl Wayne Dotson, also of Morgantown, was discovered to be in possession of a variety of weapons and methamphetamine, according to a report in the Beech Tree News.

Both suspects were arrested and charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, with Dotson also charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (meth), receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, promoting contraband, and tampering with physical evidence.

Both men are being held in the Butler County Jail.
