Grayson County High School Evacuated After Bomb Threat

At about 10:30 Monday morning, a bomb threat was received against Grayson County High School.

Responding to the school were the Leitchfield Police Department, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, Leitchfield Fire Department, Grayson County Emergency Management, and Kentucky State Police. The students have been evacuated from the buildings and are all accounted for and safe. (UPDATE: 11:58 AM)– Parents who wish to pick up their children are asked to go to Lawler Elementary School. Leitchfield Police Chief Bryan Langdon said they are taking the bomb threat seriously, and are doing everything in their power to ensure the safety of the students and teachers.

Leitchfield Police Officers are currently guarding all entrances to the school.
