Scottsville man arrested after killing his grandparents, uncle

On Monday morning at approximately 10:25, Kentucky State Police was dispatched to 1139 Ray Pardue Road in Allen County to assist in a death investigation.

Upon arriving at the scene, troopers found that the Allen County Sheriff’s Office had discovered three deceased individuals outside the residence near a front door entrance.

Police said the three victims, identified as 41-year-old Jimmy N. Siddens II, 73-year-old Jimmy Neal Siddens and 73-year-old Helen Siddens, had suffered apparent gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene by the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

Police processed the scene throughout the day, and at about 6:20 Monday night, deputies with the Sedgwick County (Colorado) Sheriff’s Department located and detained the grandson and nephew of the three deceased subjects, 28-year-old Edward D. Siddens, of Scottsville, after a vehicle pursuit. He was wanted for questioning regarding the murder investigation.

At approximately 9:00 Monday night, Edward Siddens was arrested on warrants issued by Allen Circuit Court charging him with three counts of murder, violating an EPO/DVO and theft by unlawful taking (automobile), according to authorities.

He was lodged in the Sedgwick County (CO) jail where he awaits extradition.

No motive for the murders was given by police.
