Aubrey Hunter Sandlin, age 66, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away in his home on Tuesday, (March 13, 2018).

He was born on July 2, 1951 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late Earnest and Cuba Logsdon Sandlin.

He was a construction worker who enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, collecting and playing his French harp and juice harp. He was a member of Blowtown House of Prayer.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Sandlin of Leitchfield; children, Edna Decker (John) of Leitchfield, Charlene Sandlin of Elizabethtown, Earl Ray (Jennifer), William, Carl and Jamie Sandlin, all of Leitchfield; step-children, Christy Mae Kie of Ohio County, Jimmie Nelson of Logan County, Jonathan Wade Kie (Cynthia) of Todd County, Stephanie Marie Rosser of Logan County, Lillie Baxter of Leitchfield, Michael Kie of Logan County and Shelia Drake (Adrian) of Leitchfield; twenty grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Velzie (Heather) of Bee Spring, Hobey (Joann) of Leitchfield and Leland (Tammy) of Peonia; five sisters, Odell King and Gladys Whobrey (Carl) both of Leitchfield, Nedra Sandlin of Radcliff, Marcell Ndiaye of Elizabethtown and Alain Sandlin of Leitchfield.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Anna Bell Decker, granddaughter Stephanie Rhodes and step-grandson Marvin Daniel Ward.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (March 18, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Howard Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in Wortham Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
