Joann Alexander Self, 83, of Bowling Green passed away at 5:45 AM Sunday March 18, 2018 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a loving wife and mother. She was a daughter of the late Owen Alexander and Hazel Brockett Alexander and the wife of the late McClellan Self. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gwendolyn Meredith.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Brownsville Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial to follow in Alexander Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday and 9 AM-8 PM Tuesday at Gravil Funeral Home and after 10:00 AM Tuesday at the church.
Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca Hobbs (Wayne) of Bowling Green; two grandsons, Wayne C. “Trey” Hobbs III and Jon Mathew Hobbs; and a nephew Jerry Meredith.
