Marie Langdon, age 86, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (March 20, 2018) at her home. She was born on June 23, 1931, in Grayson County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Tallie Wilson Willis.
She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and embroidery. She was a member of the Leitchfield Apostolic Church.
She is survived by her children, Michael Langdon (Tammy), Laura Frank (Darrel) both of Leitchfield, Denise Clemons (Steve) of Clarkson and daughter-in- law Pam Langdon of Leitchfield; grandchildren, Beth Minton, Wes Frank (Leann), Brad Langdon (Kim), Brian Langdon (Leslie), Sara Cooper (Chad), Blake Clemons and Tyler Clemons (Kenzie); Thirteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Stella Yates of Leitchfield, Betty Fowler of Shepherdsville, Mae Cameron of Florida; two brothers, Herman Willis of Murfreesboro, TN and Albert Willis
of Florida; caregiver Margie Carroll.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Langdon Sr., son Elmer Langdon Jr., two sisters Margie Brooks and Laverne Cravens and two brothers Bobby and Bernard Willis.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, (March 24, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Billy Hack will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
