Wednesday night at approximately 7:15, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police attempted to serve a warrant on Kefauver Road on one of Grayson County’s 10 Most Wanted fugitives.

Police did not locate the fugitive, but another man, 49-year-old Frank Magolis, of Caneyville, arrived at the residence while police were still there. Magolis, who is on parole, told police he panicked when he saw the deputies and trooper, and attempted to flee the area. As he did, his vehicle became stuck on yard art, resulting in him attempting to flee on foot.

Police chased Magolis and gave him verbal commands to stop, which he did.

He was arrested by Deputy DJ Newton and charged with fleeing or evading police and lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.

In addition to Deputy Newton, Chief Deputy Jarrod Mudd, Sgt. Clay Boone, Deputy Rance Whobrey, Special Deputy Mark Stanton and Trooper Brandon Brooks were on scene. Deputy Taylor Logsdon also assisted at the scene.
