Breck Co. man arrested on meth charge during traffic stop in Fordsville

Sunday afternoon at approximately 2:30, Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on East Main Street in Fordsville.

Police said during a search of the vehicle, authorities discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Police arrested the driver, 45-year-old Michael J. Wilkins, of Hudson, and charged him with possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was transported and lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center but has since been released.
