A Hardin County man has been charged with multiple felonies after allegedly shooting at someone during an argument.
Early Thursday morning, 34-year-old Watson Barrett, of Radcliff, was engaged in an argument with an unidentified man on South Dixie Avenue when, according to witnesses, Barrett shot at the man with a handgun. Barrett then fled the area, according to the News Enterprise. The man Barrett shot at was not injured.
Barrett, who is a convicted felon, was arrested soon after the shooting as he sat in his car at a Radcliff business. A search of Barrett’s car revealed he was in possession of methamphetamine.
Barrett was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
He is being held in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond.
