On Thursday, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office served three more of the indictment warrants detectives obtained last week in reference to several drug cases.

After a yearlong investigation, last week the Ohio County Grand Jury indicted 14 suspects on a total of 41 charges.

Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty said his office charged 35-year-old Tekiesha Gray, of Beaver Dam, with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Nate Midkiff, 36, of Hartford, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), while 54-year-old Joyce Monroe, of Beaver Dam, was charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine, Adderall).

Gray and Monroe were taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center. Midkiff was served with his arrest warrant at the Christian County Detention Center where he is lodged on several drug trafficking charges, as well as being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

Midkiff was previously arrested in November 2017 in Ohio County and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), tampering with physical evidence and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
