While serving warrant police stumble upon wanted Owensboro woman in possession of multiple drugs

Tuesday night at approximately 7:30, Kentucky State Police was attempting to serve an arrest warrant in the 4600 block of New Hartford Drive, in Owensboro, when police located a woman with warrants in a car on the property.

Authorities identified the woman as 26-year-old Cheyenne Shouse, of Owensboro. While taking Shouse into custody, police located methamphetamine in a syringe, marijuana and valium.

She was transported to the Daviess County Detention Center where a deputy jailer located methamphetamine hidden on her person, according to police.

Shouse was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance (meth, valium, drug unspecified), promoting contraband, possession of marijuana, tampering with physical evidence, and also served with a probation violation warrant for a felony offense.

She was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center on three bonds totaling $65,000.
