Kentucky State Police is looking for a Laurel County man indicted on a murder charge after his abused mother died.

On Friday, a Laurel County Grand Jury indicted 53-year-old Larry Dean Hensley, of London, after his mother’s death in February was ruled by the Laurel County Coroner’s Office a homicide due to neglect. According to the murder indictment, Hensley “knowingly abused and/or neglected a vulnerable adult,” resulting in the death of his mother, Lue Faye Hensley, on March 4, according to media reports.

Larry Dean Hensley was arrested on February 23 after being accused of abuse or neglect of an adult, after authorities arrived at the Hensley home to perform a welfare check on Lue Faye Hensley.

He was released on March 22 on a $10,000 surety bond and has not been seen since.
