Leitchfield Public Works announced its mosquito fogging schedule at Monday night’s Leitchfield City Council meeting.
Public Works Director Sheila Puckett said fogging will begin on July 18, and will be done weekly on Wednesday evenings between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00.
Puckett said if rain is in the forecast for a Wednesday, the fogging will be done on Tuesday.
Residents are urged to “empty any containers of water on their property to minimize mosquito breeding areas.”
