In a massive drug bust, the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force arrested two men in Muhlenberg County and seized 60 pounds of methamphetamine.

Police arrested 45-year-old James M. Castile and 46-year-old Stan L. Crunk, both of Hopkinsville, at a traffic stop in Graham. A Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office K-9 alerted on their vehicle, with a subsequent search leading to the discovery of approximately 225 grams of meth, and several thousands of dollars in cash, according to police.

Authorities then obtained and executed search warrants, first on Castile’s residence and then a storage unit in his name. Police recovered nearly 875 grams of meth at those two locations.

During a search of Castile’s residence in Christian County, police discovered information indicating he rented an additional storage unit in Clarksville, Tennessee, where authorities seized another 58 pounds of meth, and several thousands of dollars in cash. In total, police said the task force seized about 60 pounds of methamphetamine.

Both suspects were lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
