Clara Jean Decker, age 77 of Clarkson passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 9, 1940 in Muhlenburg County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Raymond Pruiett and the late Clara Bell (Anderson) Pruiett Haywood.
She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Stone (Alton), three sons, Dewayne (Cindy), Danny (Carol) and Timmie (Barb) Decker, ten grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren with one on the way, five half-sisters, three half-brothers and a special uncle, Hershell Anderson.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Decker, her step-father, George Haywood and one half-brother.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield with Bro. Jerry Decker officiating. Burial will be in the Anneta United Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
