On Monday, The Glasgow Police Department responded to the Happy Valley Inn on the report of someone chasing a person with a baseball bat.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers requested and were granted consent to search the room of those involved in the disturbance. During that search, police located methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and four children, ages one- to seven-years-old.

Police notified Social Services and the children were placed into protective custody “due to the circumstances,” according to authorities.

Officers arrested 26-year-old Misty Bowe and 26-year-old Christy McCellan, both of Glasgow, and 32-year-old James Green, of Cave City, and charged each with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), endangering the welfare of a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three suspects were lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on $2,500 cash bonds.

Police did not release information regarding the original call of someone being chased with a baseball bat.
