A 1991 Grayson County High School graduate and longtime Grayson County resident has been named Kentucky State Police Detective of the Year.
Senior Trooper Scotty Sharp, and eight-year veteran of the agency, was named the recipient of the prestigious award in a ceremony Friday night. The award was given for Trooper Sharp’s work out of KSP Post 4 in Elizabethtown.
In late April, Trooper Sharp was named the Public Affairs Officer for Post 4, and functions as the post’s spokesperson.
