Wednesday during the early morning hours, two Owensboro businesses were robbed at gunpoint.
Police said that a black male brandished a weapon at the Super 8 Motel, located at 1027 Goetz Drive, shortly after 1:00, demanded money and fled on foot. Then, about an hour later, police responded to Franey’s Food Mart, located at 817 Carter Road, after a report that a black male brandished a weapon, demanded money and fled on foot.
Authorities believe the suspect is the same person who robbed an Owensboro Cash Express on Monday.
